DESCRIPTION:Save the date! Alfalfa Seed Commission of Alberta’s Fall Meeting will be taking place on Monday\, November 17th\, 2025. \nDoors open @ 8:30am\, program to begin @ 9:00am. Lunch included. End time 1:30pm. \nSeason and research project updates. \nWe have a very exciting line up of guest speakers including: \nLunchtime keynote speaker Shaun Haney of RealAgriculture and Real Ag Podcast. Shaun Haney is the founder of RealAgriculture\, a leading North American ag media platform delivering news and insights on policy\, agronomy\, and farm management. He hosts RealAg Radio on SiriusXM’s Rural Radio Channel 147 and RealAg on the Weekend across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Shaun is also a regular contributor to RFD-TV\, Agritalk\, and US Farm Report\, and co-leads RealAgristudies\, a farmer-focused market research initiative launched in 2019. \nGuest speaker Joshua Rinehart. Josh is a PhD student working with the Alfalfa Leafcutting bee at North Dakota State University and will be graduating in May. Joshua always keep the farmers and managers in mind and has multiple studies published with implications for Alfalfa bee management. One of his many interests is how Alfalfa bee management practices can be modified to improve agricultural yields\, bee health\, and pollination services and he is excited to share his research. \n
